Building upon the original Benedito’s persona, “Scarpetta’s” represents the hip and trendsetting side of Benny. A scarpetta is a “little shoe” in Italian, and Lynchburg was the pre-war shoe capital of the nation. Benny’s is now the post-war 28″ pizza capital of the nation and there is no better place for it than the urban backdrop of Downtown Lynchburg. Benny Scarpetta’s opened in 2016 in the old suit shop on Main known as The Famous. We are excited to be part of the revitalization of Downtown as this is possibly the most geographically beautiful downtown in all of the Commonwealth. After braving the hills above the James River, you deserve a large slice and a cold beer.
